ABOUT THE TRAINING

This in person workshop has been designed specifically for Animal Management Officers, Local Laws Officers, Council Rangers, Shelter teams, and others working directly with and handling animals in their workplace.

During this engaging and interactive workshop we will focus on early intervention, including:

> the fundamentals of cat and dog behaviour and body language

> the impact fear, anxiety and stress have on aggressive behaviours

> common problem behaviours including biting, barking, and escaping

> safe handling and transport of animals

> how to eliminate risk and protect yourself from bites and attacks when working with dogs and cats

> understanding the differences between training and potential mental health issues

Please note: in line with our Fear Free Certification this workshop does NOT include the use of live animals.
