ABOUT THE TRAINING

This in person workshop has been designed specifically for Animal Management Officers, Council Rangers, shelter staff and others working directly with and handling animals in their workplace. During the workshop we will focus on learning the fundamentals of cat and dog behaviour and body language, safe handling and transport of animals, recognition of the impact of fear, anxiety and stress on aggressive behaviours, and understanding the differences between training and potential mental health issues.

Please note: in line with our Fear Free Certification this workshop does NOT include the use of live animals.

Cancellations or withdrawal from the workshop after the closing date must be paid in full. If we are unable to meet the minimum numbers required you will be notified and your payment refunded in full.
